By now you know I love participating in styled shoots (with professionals I love to work with, of course). Lane' at Something Borrowed contacted me about providing paper goods for an "elegant garden" styled shoot– she was going for an elegant, timeless and classic look with more neutral/earthy colors (navy, cream, some gold and brown). I had recently been researching vintage botanical prints for a client, and thought that would be a fun way to incorporate some color but still keeping the overall feel neutral by adding a wood engraved overlay. Last summer I had the pleasure of working with Lacey and DJ on their Save the Dates, wedding invitations, and day-of paper goods. Lacey and I knew each other from grade school, but were a few years apart and didn't know each other that well. I had such a good time getting to know her (and DJ) better through this process! They had such great ideas and a perfect vision what they wanted for their paper items, but still left a ton of room for creativity. in the end we were all really happy with the outcome! Below are a few photos of their suite (thanks to Paul Rich Studio!) and one of the beautiful couple from FS Photography. Check out this blog post to see more!
