I was so excited when Elizabeth from Bridal Bliss invited me to take part in a styled shoot for Portland Bride & Groom Magazine. The overall look to achieve was "Winter wonderland meets Ralph Lauren". Think warm, cozy, hot chocolate, tartan, whites & creams. They chose a blackwatch plaid pattern that instantly made my happy– it was the pattern of my grade school uniform and totally has a special place in my heart. My husband, our siblings, and some of my very best friends attended that school together, so reminders like this stir up plenty of wonderful memories! Also? It's so preppy and fun, and I haven't used plaid in a design in a long time. See more of this shoot here: http://portlandbrideandgroom.com/2014/12/reception-style-wine-spirit/ (and of course you can see it in print if you pick up the latest issue of the magazine!) Eeeek! It never gets old seeing my work in print. I'm so grateful to Katie from Gather Event Planning for inviting me to take part in this gorgeous spread in the newest issue of Oregon Bride Magazine.
"Super glam, super clean. Gold, mint and blush." Yes, please! Alex at Luxe Event Productions was speaking my language when he explained the overall concept for a Spring styled shoot taking place at Union/Pine. I had been in love with that color palette and had some gorgeous papers in the perfect shades that I knew would photograph really well. I love so many things about styled shoots but my favorite is that I get to try new things and test out interesting layouts and concepts that could potentially work for a future couple. Lane' at Something Borrowed contacted me about providing paper goods for an "elegant garden" styled shoot– she was going for an elegant, timeless and classic look with more neutral/earthy colors (navy, cream, some gold and brown). I had recently been researching vintage botanical prints for a client, and thought that would be a fun way to incorporate some color but still keeping the overall feel neutral by adding a wood engraved overlay. Maybe it's true– I work with some amazing people around here!) Stephanie from Petalos had a vision: soft pastels, watercolor details, natural surroundings, and two gorgeous brides. I loved helping bring it all to life. Here's the link to our feature on Style Me Pretty, and the lovely list of professionals involved is below. I've always loved kraft paper, and wanted to use it here but dress it up a little, so it didn't feel too rustic. Pairing it with white and soft gray paper, and a nice hand written font and wreath graphic felt like the way to achieve that. Thanks to Shauna from J29 Events for inviting me to take part! Some of my favorite shots are below and of course you'll want to see all the photos here: http://greenweddingshoes.com/timeless-winter-wedding-inspiration/

The shoot was featured on The Perfect Palette and I'm just obsessed with these gorgeous colors popping out against the perfectly white snow. Did ya hear?! I know, I know, I think I've talked about it a million times. It was such a fun and beautiful event, and we were all dyyyying to see the photos. Brittany Lauren Photography did NOT disappoint– that girl has some CRAZY talent! It was so exciting to see the photos, but then about ten times more amazing to hear shortly after that the photos were picked up by one of our favorite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty! Check out the feature here. In the meantime, here are some of my favorite shots, and of course the list of all the fabulous people involved in this wedding:

The theme was "Upcycled Brew" and we immediately agreed on what I would contribute– wood goods engraved on a beautiful dark brown walnut wood! I was so happy with the results and think they photographed so nicely with the bright colors going on in the rest of the tablescape. Here's just a couple quick shots of the spread! Wood & Paper Goods: Paper Bloom

It is the best place to see the latest and greatest in the paper goods world, and I'm constantly swooning over each post. I was lucky enough to be featured on there last year, and this week my submission of my sister's wedding invitations was also picked up! This was my first invitation suite using foil, and you should all know by now that I *love* foil. It's just so fun and adds a nice, simple touch. Check out the feature here! And many thanks to Paul Rich Studio for shooting the suite for me– it's another lovely addition to the gallery on my website. He has done a perfect job capturing the details of my work in photos, and I'm so grateful!
